The College Subhan Institute of Educational Technology (SIET) has been established in 2004-05 under a Trust namely Subhan Educational Trust. The College is away at a distance of about half a kilometer from the national highway (Initially known as Jehlum valley Road) at a distance of 3 kms from Baramulla city. The college is situated at the heart of five interlinked villages and one well established colony with very suitable atmosphere for teaching learning process. A stream, which becomes noisy during rainy season flows on the northern side of the college.

The college is on 8 kanals of land on which three big buildings are constructed, out of which two buildings are three storied and one building is one storey. The two three storey buildings are used for teaching B.Ed classes. In total there are 09 lecture halls of area (30*20) sq.ft and 8 classrooms of area (18*15) sq.ft. In addition to this, there is a big library of area (40*20) sq.ft., a computer lab., Science lab., Psychology lab/ Geographical lab., two staff rooms, one office rooms, and a Principal’s room. The accomodation and infrastructure is sufficient to accommodate more than 600 students. In addition to this, a big hall in the building is furnished with comfortable chairs in which more than 200 persons can sit comfortably.
